KS1 look run avoid

The ‘look run avoid’ unit has an important focus upon pupil’s fundamental movement skills. Pupils consider how they can find space and evade defenders. This provides early learning of attacking strategies used in later games units.

LKS2 fair share dare

The ‘fair share dare’ unit aims to develop the social skills of cooperation and collaboration along with the bravery and curiosity to try new things. These are important aspects of whole-child development in PE.

UKS2 block guard support

The ‘block guard support’ unit in UKS2 builds on pupil’s experiences from invasion game-based units in KS1 and LKS2. Pupils will learn how to work as an individual or as a team to defend an area within small-sided games.
